How the edit is built

A short list, checked harder than a long one

TrendAlerts does not run a catalogue of hundreds of near-identical bags and frames. We keep sixteen pieces on the site at a time so every listing can carry honest material names, construction notes and care rules — not a generic fabric label copied across a season.

A piece is added only after a material audit, a construction check and a wear pass. If it cannot be described clearly on the product page, it does not ship.

Handbags are checked for hardware finish, lining stitch density and whether the silhouette holds when the bag is half empty.
Eyewear is confirmed UV400, hinge-tight and free of warped acetate before it is photographed.
Jewelry is nickel-free where stated; watches are timed against a reference over 48 hours before listing.

Four checks before a piece is listed

The same sequence applies to handbags, eyewear, jewelry and scarves — only the test details change by category.

Material audit

We name the actual hide, acetate, metal or fibre. Vague terms such as “premium fabric” are not used on listings.

Construction

Seams, clasps, hinges and hems are inspected at stress points — the places cheaper accessories fail first.

Wear pass

A sample is carried, worn or draped for several days so colour shift, snagging and hardware looseness show up before launch.

Authenticity tag

Each unit ships with a unique code on a card in the dust bag. You can verify it on this page at any time.

Verify a piece you already own

Every TrendAlerts parcel includes a small card in the inner pouch or dust bag. The code on that card is unique to the unit that shipped — not a generic batch stamp.

Enter the code below. A match confirms the piece was produced for this atelier and lists the production month. If there is no match, contact support with a photo of the card.

Policies

Shipping, returns and order changes

Plain terms — the same numbers used at checkout. Open a section for the full rule.

Shipping ⌄

Standard shipping is a flat $9.50. Orders of $150 and over ship free. Most parcels leave our warehouse within two business days and arrive within five to eight business days domestically. You will receive a tracking link once the order is scanned out.

Returns & exchanges ⌄

Unworn pieces in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method. Eyewear must include the case. Jewelry must include the anti-tarnish pouch. Start a return from your order confirmation email or by contacting support.

Authenticity & materials ⌄

Every unit ships with a checkable authenticity code. Material names on product pages are the actual compositions used in production. If a listing and the piece you receive do not match, we will collect it and refund in full, including outbound shipping.

Order changes & cancellations ⌄

Orders can be changed or cancelled within two hours of placement. After that window the order typically enters packing and should be handled as a return once delivered. Promo code TREND10 applies 10% off merchandise at checkout preview.
